Cherie Trice, RYT 500 holds her undergraduate degree from Southern Connecticut State University and a MA degree in Counseling from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, Connecticut. She is also a sponsoring member of the International Association for Yoga Therapists.

In addition, Cherie is also Mat Certified for Pilates through PhysicalMind Institute (the “Method Pilates”) She has studied with master instructors Paul and Suzy Grilley, and most recently with David Swenson, Sharon Gannon and David Life. Cherie is grateful to Paula Scopino for introducing her to yoga beyond the asanas. Cherie is active in her service to the community, including work with the Board of Conserving Tolland. She also serves on the St. Joseph College Alumni Board, and the Board of Community Health Resources.

Sharon K. Cormier, RYT 500 is a local Tolland resident and has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Sharon is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance and Advanced Reiki Practitioner and a member of the International Association for Yoga Therapists. Sharon has studied recently with T.K.V. Desikachar and has also studied with Gary Kraftsow (Yoga for Wellness) and Paul Grilley, one of the founders of Yin Yoga. Sharon is also a published poet, a Certified Gemologist and an active research participant for the International Association for Near Death Studies. Through her teaching, Sharon seeks to instill that yoga is an art, science and philosophy that brings awareness, flexibility and a sense of peace into daily living. We know that you will enjoy Sharon’s peaceful presence.

Robyn Hall, Microbiologist, MBA, RYT, Zumba Certified Instructor, participated in the Eyes of the World Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Certification and is registered with National Yoga Alliance. She traveled to Costa Rica to practice at the Nosara Yoga Institute and has had the opportunity to study with a long list of respected yogis including Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Judith Lassiter, and Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa. Robyn is known for her “down to earth” approach and her enthusiastic and fun classes.

Ludwika “Vicky” Hannon is a certified Kripalu Yoga and Kripalu YogaDance instructor, and Co- Director at Breathe…more. She has been a student of yoga for 10 years, and teaching for 7. Vicky is currently enrolled in the 500-hour teacher-training program at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA. She has also presented numerous workshops and classes locally and throughout Connecticut. Vicky is a Certified Reflexologist, a Level III Reiki Master practitioner and offers both healing modalities to clients of Breathe…more. She is also a puppeteer, singer, songwriter, and music/theatre enthusiast. Vicky brings her compassion and sensitivity to her Reflexology clients and her yoga students. We are blessed to have her.

Barbara Fasulo is a Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Energy Healer, RYT 200 and RYT 500 Candidate. Barbara’s goal is to offer others the opportunity to learn about and experience relation and healing through Reiki. She has had a private practice since 2004, and provides services as a consultant to The Center for Integrative Medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. June Hyjek June is a graduate of the Advanced Training Program with the Center for MindBody Medicine and is certfiied by AFAA, with specializations in chronic disease, core stabilization, orthopedic disabilities, eating disorders and seniors. She is also certified with Body Balance University in Mat Pilates. In addition, June is also a Reiki Master and practices Chi Kung and Tai Chi Chu’an. June is currently enrolled in the Professional Training Program at the Hartford Family Institute, studying Body Centered Psychotherapy and Subtle Energy Healing. She is also a Certified Associate with Lee Hecht Harrison in Transition Management and is a member of the Connecticut Holistic Health Association. June offers Meditation classes, private Meditation and Reiki at Breathe…more.

Sarah Simmons, RYT Sarah teaches some of our power classes at Breathe…more. A runner and athlete as well as a devoted mom, Sarah recognizes the importance of balance and has practiced yoga for over 9 years. Sarah is also a writer, and you may find her articles locally in the Reminder. Sarah holds a B.S. in Psychology from SCSU and is a vegetarian with “a strong sweet tooth”. We know you will enjoy her strength and her sweetness.

Marie Wallace, MS, KYT-RYT, Of Counsel Marie is a Vernon resident and has practiced locally for years. Marie began her yoga practice in l988 and graduated from Kripalu in l997. Marie is a member of the Kripalu Yoga Teacher’s Association and Yoga Alliance. Marie teaches Kripalu-style yoga, teaching through compassion and consciousness. Besides her practice and teaching, Marie enjoys long walks, hiking with friends, gardening and photography. She also enjoys cooking wonderful vegetarian meals for her family, which includes several grandchildren.

George Hoffman George is our instructor for our late morning Tai Chi class on Wednesdays. George is the founder of Silver Dragon Tai Chi, and has taught extensively in our area. George has over 17 years of study in Tai Chi and Qi-Gong. George’s belief in the power of these ancient arts comes across in his patient and compassionate teaching style.

Nancy Alder RYT 200 Nancy is a graduate of Samadhi and has practiced yoga on and off for several years but came back to the mat to find space for herself. She loves how the combination of pranayama and asana offers quiet, peace and focus in her life. In addition to her graduation from Samadhi, she is currently working on her Core Strength Vinyasa certification with Sadie Nardini and plans to begin a 500 hour program in the Fall. When she’s not sharing the power of flight from arm balances and handstands with her kids in the yard, she writes for several nationally recognized blogs about yoga.

Cathy Saenz Cathy trained to teach Pilates through Stott Pilates. Cathy also is in her second year as a graduate kinesiology student at the University of Connecticut. Cathy believes that Pilates challenges the body in ways that few other forms of exercise can, and brings to her teaching a strong conviction and belief “of the mysteries of the body and its adaptability throughout a lifespan.” Cathy will be teaching our Saturday Pilates class. Kelly Lephart Kelly is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist who is passionate about bodywork and the overall health of her clients. She graduated from UCMT in Salt Lake City in 2003. She has trained in many modalities, including Cranial-Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Aromatherapy, Raindrop Technique and Thai Yoga massage, to name just a few. Kelly uses Young Living Essential Oils as a form of alternative healing. She is a Colorado native who recently located here after hiking a large portion of the Appalachian Trail (Go Kelly!) In her spare time, Kelly loves to explore the nature around her.

Sarah Britton Sarah comes to us with a strong devotion to yoga and a strong yoga practice! Sarah teaches our Power Yoga class on Tuesday evenings at 6:45 pm. Sarah has taught throughout our region, including classes at West Hartford Yoga. Although physically strong, Sarah has a gentle way about her that comes across in her teaching style. We invite you to meet Sarah!

Sushma Reddy RYT, 200 Sushma came to Breathe…more in May of 2011 and brings with her a gentle heart and a strong teaching background. Sushma obtained her teaching certification in 2009 after experiencing yoga as a young child. Most recently, Sushma has studied with Sadie Nardini and Rolph Gates. Sushma strongly believes in linking breath with movement, and encourages students to feel the movements while expressing each asana from the heart. We know you will feel Sushma’s presence opening your heart!

Wendi Stone, Certified Reflexologist Wendi was formerly with The Sole Connection when it was in Tolland and also practiced at Alternative Therapies in Manchester. Wendi is a graduate of the Acusage Academy where she received her Reflexology certification. Wendi is a gentle quiet presence at Breathe…more and we are happy to welcome her back. Wendi resides with her family in Tolland.

Tricia Reagan, Licensed Massage Therapist CT License 006902 Tricia is a graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy as well as George Washington University. Tricia strongly believes that human touch is necessary for nurturing and growth. Tricia offers Swedish massage, Sports massage and Myofascial Release. Tricia believes that, as a massage therapist, she must bring intention to each of her sessions, i.e. the belief that a massage must be felt physically as well as spiritually to be of benefit. Tricia is available Friday mornings and afternoons as well as Thursday evenings. When not giving a massage, you can find Tricia volunteering in the Tolland school system, reading a book at the library or walking her two dogs at Crandall Park.

Lauren McCarthy, RYT 200 Lauren is the newest member of the Breathe…more team. In addition to being a power-full yoga instructor with lots of energy, Lauren is also a physical education and health teacher at a local high school. She loves sharing her energy with everyone around her. She notes that “in teaching yoga, I hope to motivate and inspire others on their mats to discover more power, freedom and happiness”. We know you will find Lauren’s energy will motivate you! Lauren will be co-teaching the power classes on Sundays, along with the rest of our staff.
